About The Event

Have you completed Level 1 & Level 2 with Jennifer? Have you been implementing the Foundational sequences for some time and are now looking for more tools with which to serve your clients? Are you ready to explore what it means to practice more advanced techniques and refine your listening skills as you work?

This advanced training is led by a skilled, passionate, and expert teacher! You will be given plenty of instruction, opportunity for hands-on practice, feedback, and all the skills required to give a more therapeutic Thai Yoga Massage to a recipient.

What is Thai Yoga Massage?

Thai Yoga Massage (TYM) is an ancient healing art that combines the alignment of the breath, yoga asana, and mindfulness meditation of Metta (loving compassion) into a flowing dance of continuous rhythmic motion to deliver a soothing and revitalizing experience. TYM is based on an understanding of the energy lines and marma points present in each person. By working along these lines and points, the modality balances the energetic body of the recipient and frees & removes any blockages that may present in physical, mental, or emotional dis-ease.

A session of TYM results in restoring a healthy, balanced energetic flow to the recipient. It is a complete therapeutic treatment on its own and may also be incorporated into other modalities of massage or into yoga classes.

Details of the Training

Foundations of Thai Yoga Massage Level III Training will offer more sequence material to the 'Foundations of Thai Yoga Massage Level I & II Training.' This course will expand the seated portion of the practice, as well as deeper focus on the Sen lines - feeling and seeing, the 'fancy dance moves' of transitioning, introduction to Thai Yoga Therapeutics, and how to sequence an appropriate session per receiver.

To apply for this training one must have completed the 'Foundation of TYM Certification Level I & Level II Trainings' with Jennifer. Trainees can either apply to take the Level I, Level II, and Level III trainings back-to-back. Or, after taking some time to practice the Level I & Level II skills, the student must have at least 60 hours of documented practicum of the "Foundation of TYM" sequence to apply for the Level III Training. If it has been more than one year between taking the Level II trainings, it is recommended that students take a 'refresher course' of the Level I and/or Level II training. Personal assessment with Jennifer will be determined.

*** PLEASE NOTE: This is a more advanced training and all those applying are required to have a solid and embodied understanding of the Level 1 and Level 2 sequence with Jennifer before enrolling in this course. If you have any questions, email Jennifer directly. ***

For those who qualify, CE's are available from Yoga Alliance and NCBTMB.
