About The Event

Have you been wanting to deepen your understanding of using feet, elbows and forearms while giving Thai Massage? Are you interested in varying your pressure without stressing your hands? Are you ready for some fun new ways of practicing Thai Massage?

Vary the way you give Thai Yoga Massage with this weekend workshop on the art of Thao Yoga Massage: hands-free!

This training is led by a skilled, passionate, and expert teacher! You will be given plenty of instruction, opportunity for hands-on practice, feedback, and all the skills required to give Thai Yoga Massage to a recipient.

What is Thai Yoga Massage?

Thai Yoga Massage (TYM) is an ancient healing art that combines the alignment of the breath, yoga asana, and mindfulness meditation of Metta (loving compassion) into a flowing dance of continuous rhythmic motion to deliver a soothing and revitalizing experience. TYM is based on an understanding of the energy lines and marma points present in each person. By working along these lines and points, the modality balances the energetic body of the recipient and frees & removes any blockages that may present in physical, mental, or emotional dis-ease.

A session of TYM results in restoring a healthy, balanced energetic flow to the recipient. It is a complete therapeutic treatment on its own and may also be incorporated into other modalities of massage or into yoga classes.

Details of the Training

This is a supplemental training, meant to be completed by those who have studied Thai Yoga Massage Level 1 with Jennifer. Thai Yoga Massage Level 2 is recommended as a prerequisite for this course though not required.

You will be learning shorter vignettes and sequences to add into your existing practice of Thai Yoga Massage to diversify the ways you can work. It is highly recommended that you come with an active practice of Thai Yoga Massage already embodied so you can receive the most from this course.

For those who qualify, CE's are available from Yoga Alliance and NCBTMB.

Sunday 10am-6:30pm*
