30hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training

Do you have your 200 hour training and your experience of teaching with something like Hatha, Kundalini, Hot Yoga, etc and you are looking to fill out your offering to include a more diverse audience? Teaching Vinyasa can range from teaching flow to beginners to advanced practitioners. In teaching a Vinyasa style class, one can dive deep into teaching traditional flows, creative sequencing, and structured series. Not only will you focus on use of of alignment, breath, bandhas, but add the intricacies of flowing poses together in an intelligent way, making your classes diverse and accessible.

Within this 50 hour module we will explore the ‘bell curve’ of intelligent sequencing including how to create and structure a class with a proper warm up and cool down that are relevant to the main practice. We will also break down the details of poses to give insights in how to formulate a safe intelligent class. We will explore a range of modifications, use of props, verbal cueing, and demoing to create different levels of classes; beginners, intermediate, advanced, and multi-leveled. We will also discuss how to take each level in a progression to move to their next level of practice by preparing regularly practicing students.

We will have daily asana & mediation practices, lectures, practicums, Q&A. The practices will range from all levels to intermediate/advanced and you are welcome to physically participate as you are comfortable and take notes if not. You will receive a manual for the training. A certificate will be awarded upon completion.

* Please note that you must already be a 200 hour certified Yoga Teacher to attend this immersion and you will be asked for a copy of your certificate upon application.
