30hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

Do you have your 200 hour training and your experience of teaching with something like Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini, Hot Yoga, etc and you are looking to fill out your offering to include a more diverse audience? Teaching Hatha Yoga Interdisciplinary can range from teaching beginners to advanced practitioners. In teaching a Hatha style class, one can dive deep into more educational details of alignment, breath, bandhas, and the intricacies of articulating more variations within an asana to accommodate many folks at the same time.

Within this 50 hour module we will explore the ‘bell curve’ of intelligent sequencing including how to create and structure a class with a proper warm up and cool down that are relevant to the main practice. We will also break down the details of poses to give insights in how to formulate a safe intelligent class. We will explore a range of modifications, use of props, verbal cueing, and demoing to create different levels of classes; beginners, intermediate, advanced, and multi-leveled. We will also discuss how to take each level in a progression to move to their next level of practice by preparing regularly practicing students.

We will have daily asana & mediation practices, lectures, practicums, Q&A. The practices will range from beginner - all levels - intermediate/advanced and you are welcome to physically participate as you are comfortable and take notes if not. Such as, opting to observe an advanced class of how to teach inversions. You will receive a manual for the training. A certificate will be awarded upon completion.

* Please note that you must already be a 200 hour certified Yoga Teacher to attend this immersion and you will be asked for a copy of your certificate upon application.
